Current South Australian Champion Steven Lines has captured a well earnt Overall Easter Trail Victory for his Camden Neon Racing Team.

With two sensational round wins and a fourth place finish sealing the Easter Trail Victory for the Camden Neon Team.

Lines, driving his Camden Neon, Maxwill Racing Engines, J&J, had a fantastic win on the first night at Avalon Raceway. Lines was top qualifier in the v45, by virtue of a 1st and 2nd heat race finish on top of his 5th fastest time trial.

Lines knew getting the jump at the start of the race was important ahead of the stout field. Leading from the drop of the green flag Lines came home ahead of the popular Max Dumesny in his Valvoline, Maxwill Racing Engines, Maxim, who finished in a very respectable 2nd place in the tough field.

Backing up the first night with another win, this time at Lines' home track of Mt Gambier, the Camden Neon team was again on fire with a win and a third in the heats, on top of a third fastest time trial.

Another stand out in time trials was third generation racer Nick Lacey, in his Hitachi, Maxwill Racing Engines car, posting the fastest time of the night, turning a 10.805 second lap.

Steven Lines went on to win the feature, after top qualifying and starting from pole position, he was never challenged for the win.

Warrnambool's Premier Speedway saw Steven Lines seal the overall victory with a hard fought 4th place finish in the feature, after having to come from a 13th place starting position. Lines set second quickest Time Trial around the 410 metre venue. From there he had a second place heat finish, before an unfortunate tenth place finish in his second heat. The team worked hard and Lines drove sensationally to bring the car home in 4th position.

After the race Lines commented "It's goot to get good results for the crew, they have worked hard all year and Dave and Camden Neon Signs and his whole family have just supported me all year."
