Last Saturday night saw Mark Caruso capture his third successive Speedway City Feature Win in a row. Caruso led the entire 25 laps of the 2010 City of Playford Mayors Cup for 360 Sprintcars.

After starting out of position two, by vitue of his win and 5th place heat finishes, Caruso beat pole sitter Clinton Oliver, in the Max Bell owned Maxwill Racing Engines Maxim at the start and was never seriously challenged throughout the 25 laps. Both drivers made it through two big incidents at the start of the race, after which the race almost went full duration until a red light with one to go. With a green white chequer Caruso held on for a well earnt victory.

After destroying a car the meeting before at the 360 Australian Title, Mark and the crew thrashed to get a new car together for the event, saying the car wasnt ready until 3am that morning. "The Australian Title really hurt us, we had a busy week putting another car together and Maxwill Motors had been flat out getting my spare engine ready. This was by far the best motor I have had all year. This is the first time that I have won three feature races in a row here at Adelaide, we had won 2 in a row a couple of times before but to get 3 is an amazing feeling".

Mark Caruso lead home a 1-2-3 for Maxwill Racing Engines. Coming home in second was pole sitter Clinton Oliver, with third place going to Adam Currie in his Maxwill Racing Engines powered Maxim.
