Master Murcott

David Murcott came away from Truckworks Speedway City on Saturday night with the trophy for the Australian Sprintcar Masters, as he defeated Trevor Green, Jamie Cobby and Steven Lines, making it a Maxwill Racing Engines 1-2-3-4.

After starting out of position 3 Murcott followed early race leader Trevor Green, until a mid race yellow saw him jump in front for the lead. From lap 16 on, Murcott was never headed and worked through lapped traffic well.  
David said that this is a race him and the Downing Brothers Racing Team have wanted to win for a long time.
Early race leader Trevor Green was strong all night, to come home second, closely followed by Cobby and Lines, all in there Maxwill Racing Engines powered machines.
Following on his impressive form was young gun Daniel Pestka bringing his Maxwill Racing Engines car home in 6th position.

In the 360 race Shannon Barry won the feature with his brand new ASCS Maxwill Racing Engines, from a strong field, making it a clean sweep for the night, with Maxwill Racing Engines on top of the podium in 410 Sprintcars, 360 Sprintcars, and Super Sedans.
