Murcott takes the Bill Wigzell Cup Home

David Murcott, aboard the Downing Brothers Racing, Maxwill Racing Engines, Cool, has won the Bill Wigzell Battle of the Bridge.

David Murcott survived the hard 30 lap feature taking the lead from the outset, never being seriously challenged. The battle for the minors was intense with both Steven Lines, onboard the Camden Neon, Maxwill Racing Engines, J&J and Jamie Cobbie driving the Brice Metals, Maxwill Racing Engines, Maxim battling it out. Dissapointingly 'Cobbs' succumbed to a flat right rear mid race whilst sitting in 4th position. 
The end results for Maxwill Racing Engines was great, with David Murcott taking a very convincing win, our current South Australian Champion Steven Lines finishing 3rd whilst young Terry Pitt put in the drive of his career as he finished fifth ahead of some more experienced campaigners.
